The Mudlark Summer Exhibition

HOME PAGE HEADER 2For The Mudlark exhibition, The Shop Floor Project has commissioned their stable of artists and makers to respond to this concept and the wider theme of the ‘river’. Fliff Carr, Denise Allan, Yukihiro Akama, Hannah Upritchard and Samantha Allan (all regular mudlarkers themselves) have created a collection of special treasures inspired by the River Thames – above and below its muddy waters.
Combining my two main interests of making in the studio and treasure seeking on the foreshore of the Thames has been a real thrill.  I’m proud to be part of this curated exhibition.

Beauty in the Everyday Show at Brixton East

Brixton East 1871,
100 Barrington Road,
London, SW9 7JF

Exhibition Open:

Saturday November 26th 10.30 am – 6.00pm
Sunday November 27th 10.30 am – 6.00pm

My works feature in the next Cavaliero Finn exhibition – Beauty in the Everyday – Appreciating Still Life. It is a curated still life exhibition which features a series of still life art installations exploring how contemporary artists today produce their own unique take on the traditional still life through painting, drawing, photography, textiles, ceramics, sculpture and installation.

‘Beauty in the Everyday’ presents a selection of work by over 20 artists and makers housed at Brixton East, a nineteenth century, disused furniture factory; its raw and minimal industrial finish offering the perfect backdrop to the contemporary artwork on show.
